We're off to Portland this weekend. Found a cozy place for us to live in for a few months while we find jobs and look for a home to buy (the one we wanted to bid on, sold) . So, I'll have to keep you in suspense a little longer.

Happy belated Solistice!
We hiked up onto Tubb's Hill last night for a look at the late setting sun. Didn't get to see much due to cloud cover, but nonetheless, we were able to see some pretty colors dance on the gray canvas. It was great just to take a hike and feel earth instead of tires under our feet.
We're hoping that we can put an offer in on a house this Monday. I'm kinda excited but don't want to get my hopes to high. The house is right across the street from a gorgeous park and close to some small shops. I'm keeping my fingers crossed and feeling giddy already at the prospect.
So instead, I'll think about the hike back up the hill tomorrow. I'll take some pics and let you have a glimpse of the new beauty I'm feasting on.
