Dream a Little Fugue for Me

Random quarks of thought are springing to and thro within my head. I try to grasp one, but like light particles, they only exist when I look at them. Life seems mundane and fleeting at the moment, no thoughts to expound upon, but observations that reel turnwise and widdershins.

The leader came to our city yesterday. Protesters jeered him, other jeered the protesters. A calm tension seems to fill the air, ready to ignite a passionate fugue hellbent on being the truth. Both sides are striking different melodies, but each is finding a harmonious chord. Why can't these people hear it? Perhaps some are too blissfull in their pop-y, feel-good, everyman can, and will dances, while others are seizing the intrinsic sound experiments that horrify and seduce you to worlds within and without nature.

I figure most people just want to live and explore the world around them. But it seems that there are those few who wish to push their well defined "truths" on others. I don't know why, but speculate that these people do not trust their instincts and there-fore are only vilified in there opinions if everyone else thinks so, too.

This theory doesn't account for the unassuaged theories that "bible bangers" or "ELFs" and other fervent monks proclaiming truth seem to have their foundation in. They spout your sins, but don't always have a logical step to correcting the issue. However, the metaphors for fixing your behavior "Find God" or "Stop it.", seem to find their way into conversations most often than not.

I think though that stopping destructive behavior or finding an ultimate connection with divine love, may be good steps to take in preparing the grand orchestral piece called the human race. But destructive behavior must be recognized by the individual performing it. If they don't know that they're singing a piece out of tune with the rest of the choir, who and how do you correct that tone deafness?

People have tried shouting and holding up signs. Others claim that the director himself has ordained this player a great master musician and rightly deserves first chair.

Does anybody really know what the song is? Gurus and priests in far away lands claim to know of single chord holding it all together. I've heard cosmic whistles and whale songs. I've heard the drums of war and the drums for peace. What cacophony we must create. Or does it all fit together, chants and a soprano, pipes and drums, gunfire and cellos, motors and birdsongs.

A cricket bat smashing a cricket.

We are constantly creating something bigger than ourselves. Just by passing someone on the street, we have interjected our tune into theirs. Have we inspired them? Have we made them lose their concentration and now they have to start over? And what about those masses that come across other egos of opposing opinions? What are they doing to inspire? They seem mostly to enrage.

It seems simple enough to just listen and find that tune humming beneath the streets' is the one everyone would want to hear.

People talk of life and peace.

There are gods for war and death.

Will the tune always be written in blood?

ugh

So I tried to post a beautiful little puking of thoughts and blogger won't read correctly.

Liv'n

We've been pretty busy as of late, trying to secure a new home and attending a national conference. More soon, after I recuperate.

Love is the Law.
