A hunting I will go.
For the past month and a half I have been running to retail stores and coffee shops, putting in applications and resume's. Of the 10 coffee places I stopped at, only one person called me in for an interview. Then she never called me back. Recently, I've been applying for Admin Assistant and clerical positions at the universities and colleges. It's been two weeks since my first resume went out and I've only received one email confirmation.oi.
I'm starting to feel a bit down about the whole ordeal. I've never had this much trouble getting hired. I wonder if I'm doing something wrong. I'm avoiding the fast food and canvasing jobs. Maybe I should start applying at call centers. Somethings gotta give soon. I don't want it to come down to eating my dogs and dancing for money.
I'm starting to think Portland wasn't such a great idea after all.
